I hate how installing anti-virus and additional drivers can slow your start up to hell.

Before: 45 seconds to completely load everything
After: 1 minute and 10-20 seconds to load, because McAfee takes a long time. Dammit McAfee. The things I do for system stability. :D

Games still work well though.

My laptop is here! It's a beast! But thanks to some virus antics, it's currently FUBAR if I connect to the internet. Luckily, the guy who built it is sending a system image disk so I can wipe the hard driver and start from scratch. Plus, it's already preinstalled with FEAR, Black and White 2, Doom 3 and Oblivion, enough to tide me over for a few days :D

So, after half a year of debating and deciding, my laptop is finally ordered. It's a beast. I can't wait to try it out, considering it'll be like...twice as powerful (or more) than my current desktop. :D

I'll post photos and stuff when I receive it.

So...I preordered the 150 dollar Halo 3 Legendary Edition. Slim chance of actually getting it though, I'd have to like, line up at like 6 PM and wait till the midnight launch. :D Might even come back to Ottawa just to do that XD

Ok, the bad first!

Someone broke into our car. And stole my parent's credit card. Then purchased a few thousand dollars worth of crap at Giant Tiger (wtf?), managing to swipe the card some 20+ times or so within 45 minutes. And the clerks somehow didn't notice, or bother to check the signature on these large purchases. Luckily, we won't be charged by Visa, and the insurance will cover the car damage.

Good!:
- I made over 8 dollars of tip within 4 hours of working at cash today!
- It was relaxing walking back from the overpass to my house! (a trip I usually hate)
- Killer Notebooks has updated their line! Woot! Time for my (freaking expensive) laptop! But it's like...high powered! Yay?
